Chris Nedelcovych Remembered at RFK Stadium in Washington

On June 19, 2002 the friends and family of Chris Nedelcovych honored his memory and the inauguration of the Chris Nedelcovych Soccer Foundation by hosting a tribute at the D.C. United vs. Colorado Rapids soccer game at RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C..

Over 300 guests attended this event to kick off the Foundations efforts and to help to keep Chris's dream of "Youth Coaching Youth" alive. Among the guests were dignitaries such as Ambassadors Diarrah of Mali and Kasahun of Ethiopia as well as the United States Men's National Team and D.C. United soccer star Ben Olson and Maryland State Youth Soccers Director of Training and Education Graham Ramsay.
