CNSF-MSYSA Fourth Annual Young Coaches Residential Camp

CNSF is returning to St. James, July 3-8

The CNSF is proud to announce that the Fourth Annual Young Coaches Residential Camp will be held at the St. James School in Hagerstown MD from July 3-8. The Camp will again be a part of the Maryland State Youth Soccer Associations International Weeks Program.
The CNSF is proud to announce that the Fourth Annual Young Coaches Residential Camp will be held at the St. James School in Hagerstown MD from July 3-8. Once again the Camp will be a part of the Maryland State Youth Soccer Associations International Weeks Program.
 
Gert Veldwijk, a qualified KNVB instructor returns for the third time time to direct the course. Instruction will focus on the KNVB's Introductory level course and how small sided games can be used as a tool in youth education. He will be assisted by the CNSF Program Director Larry Paul and members of the MSYSA State Staff.
 
This year the number of scholarship coaches will be held to 16 to help insure the highest possible level of instruction and individual attention. The CNSF will pay the round trip air fare for the candidates accepted from outside of the Washington Baltimore area. The scholarships are open to any young coach, ages 17-23 from the United States or Canada. The candidates will need to complete and submit the two part application process. The deadline for applications is May 1 and the candidates will be notified by May 15. Applications maybe submitted as hard copy or attached to an email.
 
The coaches will receive a copy of Bert van Lingens Coaching Soccer and the DVD Street Soccer, An Introduction to Small Sided Games. Upon the successful completion of the course and a take home written test the candidates will be awarded the Maryland State Youth Soccer Associations E License.

Due to space limitations we are restricted to 16 scholarships. Selection will be done by the CNSF Board based upon the applications received.
